Rules
Group and auction rules
These rules apply to every member of the Association’s WhatsApp groups. By applying, you agree to follow them.
General rules
- All transactions are solely between buyers and sellers; admins are not liable or involved in any deals made in this group.
- Admins are not responsible for any transactions or their outcomes. However, we’re happy to help facilitate smooth transactions and offer guidance when needed.
- While we do our best to check and vet most people in this group, always request references before making a deal.
- While we’ll do our best to assist, ultimately, buyers and sellers are responsible for their own transactions.
Auction rules
- Auction duration
- Each auction lasts 5 minutes.
- Respectful conduct
- Be respectful to buyers and sellers, and minimize unnecessary chat.
- Posting
- Only post when it’s your designated time.
- Dispute resolution
- All disputes will be addressed at the end of the auction.
- Screenshot policy
- Sellers must send a screenshot of their screen to an active admin at the end of the auction. Buyers should not contact admins with their screenshots.
- Payment terms
- Payments must be made by check, wire, or ACH. Alternative payment methods must be agreed upon by the seller before the auction.
- Bid commitment
- If you bid, you are committed to purchasing the item. Failure to do so will result in removal from both chats.
- Deleted bids
- We will not accept deleted bids.
- Payment expectations
- All payments are expected the next day, pre-wired, unless specified otherwise.
- Label responsibility
- The buyer is responsible for labeling, unless specified otherwise.
- Accidental posts
- If you post a watch “by accident,” it will be considered a valid auction item.
- Auction start
- Auction starts when someone begins bidding and lasts for 5 minutes.
- Bidding increments
- Bids must be in $100 increments, unless specified otherwise by the seller.
